Our online member center and mobile app have moved to HealthSafe ID®, an enhanced, secure way for you to sign in. You’ll need to create an account to get your HealthSafe ID.

As soon as you receive your health plan ID card, you can create an online member center account and register for a HealthSafe ID. Then download the HPN & SHL App from your app store and sign in with your new HealthSafe ID.

Here's how:

Our online member center brings your health plan information together in one place.

  1. Sign in to the online member center with your HealthSafe ID. First time users will need to create an account.
  2. Use this convenient service to:
    • View, download and email your health plan ID card.
    • Check the status of a prior authorization or referral.
    • Find out who is on record as your primary care provider (PCP).
    • Access your health records. Only available to Southwest Medical patients who opt-in to receive electronic medical records.
    • Secure chat with a Member Services representative.
    • Update your contact information and address.
    • Select communication preferences.
    • Discover the latest health plan news.

Discover the HPN & SHL mobile app and put your benefits at your fingertips

  1. Search for HPN & SHL in your app store and download the app
  2. Sign in with your HealthSafe ID. First time users will need to create an account
  3. Save your password with Touch ID or Face ID, if desired
  4. Use the mobile app to:
    • View your health plan ID card
    • Save your health plan ID card to your Apple Wallet™.
    • Check the status of a prior authorization or referral.
    • Find out who is on record as your primary care provider (PCP).
    • Search for a doctor, specialist, facility or lab.
    • Talk with an advice nurse. Available 24/7.
    • Launch a virtual visit 24/7. No appointment needed.
    • Get step-by-step directions to contracted urgent cares and hospitals.
    • Secure chat with a Member Services representative.
    • Access your health records. Only available to Southwest Medical patients who opt-in to receive electronic medical records.
    • Update your contact information and address.
    • Select communication preferences.

You can also opt-in to receive certain health plan notifications by email and text message. Sign into the online member center or the app. Then click on the profile icon to select your communication preferences.

Your personal medical information is confidential and is only available to you and your provider.

You must be a UnitedHealthcare Health Plan of Nevada Medicaid member to create an online member center account and use the app.
